School activities? I attend hip hop classes (on weekends). I was thinking of establishing a school when I get older. Some of the activities during school hours will be swimming, gymnastics, dancing which includes ballet. I just wanted to know if hip hop is included as one of the schools activities would it seem appropriate? All activities are not mandatory and kids get to choose which one(s) they want to participate in..

How does too much homework affect students who are in after school activities?

should i list activities from high school on a job application? the question on my application is "List any organizations you are on or have been a member of (including Animal and non-Animal related) organizations:" im about to graduate college, so were any activities from high school too long ago to list? i only joined one club in college, but i played several sports in high school. it looks really empty to just list yearbook staff for one semester.

How important are extra-curricular activities in high school? I've been told that one very significant thing that colleges/universitites look at are the amount of extra-curricular activities a student does in high school. What I was wondering is how important are these extra-curricular activites? How many of them do you have to do? How dedicated to extras? Isn't education the number one thing? What about wanting to lead a social life apart from school?

First day of school activities? I teach 8th grade math. Every year on the first day I do the usual introduction of the teacher, students introduce themselves, they fill out a student questionnaire, go over rules and forms, etc. Does anyone have any fun activities I could do for middle school students?
